Mice and rodents can be a year round problem. As the weather changes, warm or cold, mice will try to move in. As farmers plow their fields, more rural areas will experience a possibility of mice problems. Nearby construction can also up the chance of an infestation.
To treat for a mice problem, we use rodenticides along with glue boards and mechanical traps. We place them under the home and inside the home in inconspicuous places. In commercial areas exterior bait stations may be required.
There are preventative measures that home and business owners can take to help keep their buildings rodent free. Keeping areas adjacent to buildings free of weeds, firewood, bricks and other stored items that rodents may house in. Also, ensuring that buildings do not have erosion or wood rot issues that would allow easy access into the building.
